Sweet Peaches Child Care
Sweet Peaches Child Care is owned and operated by a Star Valley mom, Courtney, who has spent the last 10 years working in childcare and preschool. After having her daughter in the spring of 2022, she became a stay-at-home mom — and after later going through a divorce, she wanted a way to continue staying home with her daughter while still earning an income. Drawing on her years of experience in daycare and preschool settings, she began building Sweet Peaches Child Care in the summer of 2024 and opened her doors that September.
What do children need most in their early years? Love and care above all else.
At Sweet Peaches, we believe there’s so much happening in a child’s mind that we can only begin to imagine. Children are always learning, always growing, and they need a safe place to simply be themselves. We see childcare as a partnership — parents and provider working together as a team to give every child the love and support they need to thrive.
Every day, we create a fun, loving environment filled with hugs, cuddles, and joyful play. We believe:
- Every child is loved, and every child grows at their own pace. There are good days and bad days, and we grow together through all of them.
- Play is a child’s most important job. Whether a child is playing in a group, playing alone, or simply watching others, their mind is hard at work. Play is how children develop — and it’s something we take seriously, even when it looks like simple fun.
10 Years of Childcare Experience
Before opening Sweet Peaches, our founder spent a decade working directly in daycare and preschool classrooms. That experience shapes everything about how Sweet Peaches operates today — from daily routines to the way we introduce new foods, encourage curiosity, and support each child’s individual development.
Our Home, Your Child′s Second Home
Because Sweet Peaches is an in-home daycare, children experience the same comforts they enjoy at home — relaxing on the couch, helping prepare snacks and meals, and playing in a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run and explore. It’s this “at home” feeling that families notice first when they visit, along with the genuine friendships that form between the children in our care.
Licensed, Certified, and Held to a High Standard
Sweet Peaches Child Care is licensed by the State of Wyoming and held to strict safety and health standards, including:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Annual fire inspections
- Annual health and sanitation inspections
- Annual re-licensing
- Unannounced drop-in licensing visits throughout the year
- A securely fenced yard for safe outdoor exploration
